Rooted in a proud tradition of Southern hospitality, Tangi Catering Co. is led by Grill Chef John Miller Jr., voted Best Steak in Tangipahoa Parish in 2024. Known for his skill over the flame and his commitment to quality, John Jr. built his reputation in the family restaurant business before stepping into his own spotlight.
The Miller family’s culinary journey began three generations ago, when John’s grandparents catered for politicians, dignitaries, and the famed Angola Prison Rodeos. Over the years, the family launched and ran multiple successful restaurants across Louisiana, eventually bringing their vision home to Tangipahoa Parish. It was here that John refined his craft, working side by side with his family and learning the art of delivering both incredible flavor and heartfelt service.
